How do you configure online test in TestBudha-Online Test Creation, Online Quiz and Online Skill Assessment Tool

Hi there,

In this blog, I would like to walk you through how you could configure your online test in TestBudha. This includes, how to set a deadline/expiry date for a test, set a test duration, and set a test start time.

Wouldn't it be great if you could have some security features like restricting multiple attempts and randomizing questions? Please follow the steps below to configure these settings.

a. How to set a deadline/expiry for an online test?

1. While creation of an online test, you will be asked to set the time and date for that particular test. Please check the box and enter details like time, date etc.

Create new test>>Enter details of the test>>Please uncheck practice test>>Set time and date

 b. How to set time limit for an online test?

Create new test>>Enter details of the test>>Please uncheck practice test>>Set time limit

c. Multiple attempts

This function allows the test creator to restrict the test takers from taking the test more than once. This function appears when you are about to publish your test.

Publish>>Multiple attempts (Keep the tag in red for restricting users taking multiple test).

d. Randomize Questions

This function allows you to randomize the questions in a test. Before you publish your test, you would have to select it. If the tag is red, then it indicates that questions will not be randomized. If you keep it green, it indicates that randomize option has been activated and all the users of that particular test will receive randomized questions in their test.

e. Test Start Time

This function allows you to set the start time of a test.

Publish>> Test start time (Keep the tag in green) >>Enter start date and time

If you would like to allow your users to start their test before or after a buffer time, please enter the details in the box appeared below.
So if you set a buffer of 5 minutes for a test scheduled at 10:00 am on 31st Mar’15, users will be allowed to take the test 5 minutes before and 5 minutes after the scheduled time of 10:00 am.
