TestBudha is a web based test management software which supports question types like Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), Short answers and Detailed/Essay Type. The inbuilt answer evaluation engine enables you to automate evaluation for multiple choice questions (MCQ) and short answers. Currently, for descriptive questions, you would require to evaluate the answers manually by the exam evaluator/admin.

Did you know that TestBudha can help you create different types of questions in an online test? Yes, TestBudha supports five different types of questions with multimedia support:

Multiple choice with one right answer
Multiple choice with more than one right answer
     Arrange the answers in an order (Sortable)
Short Answer
Essay/Descriptive Type **
   
** Essays require manual correction in TestBudha. For all other question types, score calculation is automated.



How do you create an online test in TestBudha-Online Test Creation, Online Quiz and Online Skill Assessment Tool



    Hi there,


    This blog will help you understand how easily you could create an online test using TestBudha. I will walk you through few steps like creating an actual test, adding questions to TestBudha editor and how you can choose different question types depending on what kind of online test you would like to create for your test takers.

     a. Login as a test creator/Admin

         b. Click on Create new test in your home page.
           


    c. Fill in the exam details like name, topic, sub topic and description.
    d. To conduct actual test, please uncheck Practice test and set time and end date.
    e. Please select Add Questions to start adding your questions.



    f. Type your question in the editor. Choose the type of question whether MCQ, Short answer, Essay. Select the right answer from the options provided (radio button blue in color) and allocate weightage to each questions being added. Save and click on Add for uploading.




    7. Continue adding the questions and save it. Once you are done, you can invite people to take the test.



    How do you invite test takers to take the test in TestBudha - Online Test Creation, Online Quiz and Online Skill Assessment Tool



    Hi there,


        This blog will help you understand, how you could send invitation to test takers for the online test created by you.

    1. Click on Invite to send invitation to test takers.






        2. In the pop up, select invite others to take the test.




         3. You also have an option to send invitation to selected target group. Here you can enter the email ids separated by comma or you can choose the batch/group email ids which are already created by simply clicking the drop down Select a group.






    How do you evaluate a test in TestBudha-Online Test Creation, Online Quiz and Online Skill Assessment Tool



    Hello everyone!

    In this blog, I would like to throw some light on how you could evaluate the online test created by you. I would also cover how you can assign marks on particular essay type question you had it in the test.

    1. Click on Evaluate for evaluation. 


    2. In the pop up, click on Perform Correction for evaluation.


    3.Once you click on Perform Correction, another pop up appears and you can perform correction and assign marks to your test takers.

    1. Click on Report to generate the detailed report of the test being taken.

    How do you configure online test in TestBudha-Online Test Creation, Online Quiz and Online Skill Assessment Tool

    Hi there,

    In this blog, I would like to walk you through how you could configure your online test in TestBudha. This includes, how to set a deadline/expiry date for a test, set a test duration, and set a test start time.

    Wouldn't it be great if you could have some security features like restricting multiple attempts and randomizing questions? Please follow the steps below to configure these settings.

    a. How to set a deadline/expiry for an online test?

    1. While creation of an online test, you will be asked to set the time and date for that particular test. Please check the box and enter details like time, date etc.

    Create new test>>Enter details of the test>>Please uncheck practice test>>Set time and date



     b. How to set time limit for an online test?

    Create new test>>Enter details of the test>>Please uncheck practice test>>Set time limit



    c. Multiple attempts

    This function allows the test creator to restrict the test takers from taking the test more than once.This function appears when you are about to publish your test.

    Publish>>Multiple attempts (Keep the tag in red for restricting users taking multiple test).



    d. Randomize Questions

    This function allows you to randomize the questions in a test. Before you publish your test, you would have to select it. If the tag is red, then it indicates that questions will not be randomized. If you keep it green, it indicates that randomize option has been activated and all the users of that particular test will receive randomized questions in their test. 



    e. Test Start Time

    This function allows you to set the start time of a test.

    Publish>> Test start time (Keep the tag in green) >>Enter start date and time

    If you would like to allow your users to start their test before or after a buffer time, please enter the details in the box appeared below.
    So if you set a buffer of 5 minutes for a test scheduled at 10:00 am on 31st Mar’15, users will be allowed to take the test 5 minutes before and 5 minutes after the scheduled time of 10:00 am.
